General terms and conditions when booking ticket and other on the Internet.

These general conditions apply between Lifjell Skisenter AS and you as a customer yourself or through others making a booking and buying of goods or services on the provider's website lifjell.skiperformance.com. The terms and conditions applies for ski passes, ski school and all other goods and services or a combination of these.

Subscribers responsibility

Before making a final order subscribers shall read and familiarize themselves with important information about the product . Subscribers are responsible for ensuring that the purchase is in accordance with their own wishes. The subscriber is also responsible for ensuring that information on the confirmation (only sent as e-mail) is in accordance with the order.

You can also register and login as user via social login (Facebook and Google). When you register using Facebook or Google, you will be able to use your account with your credentials.
You can always change your personal information by login on "My page" 

Ski passes
When buying a ski pass online you can buy this with or without a data medium, eg. Keycard. If you buy a ski pass with an existing keycard, it is charged at the first pass in the lift's turnstile. If you have purchased a new keycard online, this can be picked up in one of our two ski rentals.

Implementation of your order

After correctly having executed the online payment you will receive a receipt by e-mail. The receipt will contain all the details of your purchase and can also be brought to the ski resort.

The order is not completed and not valid in the following cases:
- Subscriber has not received mail with with a confirmation /reference number.
- If the online payment is canceled for various reasons and payment fails.
- The payment is not accurate or complete so that the amount is not deducted from the account.
- Thus the provisional reservation will be cancelled after a short time and the trade is invalid.

Payment
We use a payment solution from Nets AS - Netaxept. Third party will not have access to your personal information or credit card number. Netaxept uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) when transferring personal information. SSL creates a secure (encrypted) connection between your computer and Netaxept. In this way information is transmitted safely without unauthorized access . 

Right of withdrawal
When purchasing lift pass on the internet, there is no right to cancel or refund, (With reference to the Rigt of Withdrawal Act §22 letter m) . This also applies to packages and promotions that contains fixed date ski passes. 

Insurance

We recommend that you have proper insurance in case of illness, lost goods, accident etc.

Marketing rules

Subscribers understand that a customer relationship is established and accept to receive direct marketing. You can reserve yourself against receiving this kind of marketing by sendin en email to postmaster@lifjell.no.

Reservation

We do not take any responsibility for any publishing errors on our web pages and on other printed material that we publish.

Amendments

Lifjell Skisenter reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time.

SKI PASSES

1. Use and purchase of lift passes

All lift passes are personal and valid during regular opening hours for the date(s) stated on the card or online order/receipt. The user must be able to identify that he or she is the rightful holder of the card. The card must be shown unsolicited during inspection. When purchasing a lift pass, it will be stated which lifts and slopes are in operation on fnugg.no/lifjell.
A lost card is only replaced with a new card when personal data has been registered in connection with the purchase of the lift pass and it can be blocked. The facility owner has the opportunity to charge an administration fee in regards of the issuance of a new card. Damage to the lift pass during normal use entitles the holder to the issuance of a new card. Keycard must be purchased.

All prices stated are for ski passes bought on the internet/webshop. If you buy ski passes in the ski rental, you will be charged an extra NOK 50 per lift pass. 

2. Weather and snow conditions

We make our guests aware that weather and snow conditions can be variable in the mountains. The guest is responsible for assessing the weather and snow conditions based on his/her skiing and snowboarding skills, before purchasing a lift pass. We ask our guests to keep an eye on information about operational messages that are updated on our website and fnugg.no/lifjell.

3. Code of conduct for alpine skiing

Alpine skiing – including snowboarding, telemark skiing, etc. – is associated with a certain risk. All lift pass holders (you as a customer/guest and fellow travelers) are obliged to familiarize themselves with and follow safety conditions, instructions and regulations that are communicated. This includes Code of Conduct for alpine  skiers and snowboarders". Read here.

Lifjell Skisenter AS is not responsible for damage that occurs when the guest/fellow travelers act in violation of such instructions and rules of conduct. e.g. when riding outside secured groomed trails, which is prohibited with great risk and is discouraged.

4. Refunds

Reimbursement in the event of illness:

In the event of illness or injury, the card user will be entitled to a proportionate refund of the card expenses for the time the card could not be used against a doctor's certificate after a doctor's visit. The card must be returned as soon as possible ref. guidelines for the use of lift passes Alpin og Fjell (refunds are not given on day passes, 3 hour passes, evening passes and single trips). Reimbursement in the event of illness or injury will only be given to the person who is sick or injured, and only for the days the lift pass has not been used. In case of early departure due to unforeseen events, no refund will be given on lift passes. 

Refunds in the event of operational interruptions and beyond the facility's control (force majeure):

No refunds will be paid for lift passes or ski rentals that cannot be used due to, for example, bad weather, power failures, machine failures, little snow coverage, closure of certain slopes/lifts or technical stoppages. If you are unsure about the weather and conditions, please contact us before you buy a lift pass.

5. Miscellaneous discounts
The customer is responsible for presenting a discount coupon/voucher/gift card for the purchase of a lift pass. No refund will be given afterwards in case of lack of discount.

6. Sanctions in the event of misuse of lift passes or violation of the Alpine Code of Conduct
The cardholder understands that misuse of lift passes, violation of the Alpine Code of Conduct, violation of instructions on lifts and slopes, skiing while intoxicated, etc. may result in confiscation/blocking of lift passes, imposition of additional fees/control fees, expulsion from the facility and/or reporting to the police. Misuse of lift passes means, among other things, when an adult uses a children's card, a person uses someone else's card or a forged or stolen card is used. Checks will be carried out.

SKI RENTAL

1. Payment, booking and cancellation

Equipment can cancelled until 72 hours before the start of the rental. If cancelled later than this, Lifjell Skisenter  will keep the amount paid.

All booking, payment and cancellations have to be done in our webshop.  Booking have to be done the day before arrival at the latest. Yuo have to bring  your personal ID and order confimation when picking up the equipment.

2.Use of equipment and the lessor's/client's responsibilities

Equipment must only be used on marked and groomed trails. Damage to the equipment when used outside marked trails can make the person renting liable for compensation. The rental shop is not responsible for theft of the equipment. During the rental period, the person renting is responsible for the equipment.

Alpine skis can easily be exchanged. Remember how the skis look like including the length of the skis and where you place the them.

3. Refund

Money will not be refunded for interrupted rent unless there is a doctor's certificate. In the event of illness or injury, the person renting will be entitled to a proportionate refund of the rental expenses for the time the equipment could not be used against a doctor's certificate after a doctor's visit. No refund for started rental day.

SKI SCHOOL

1. Refund
No refund will be given if the customer chooses to cancel the ski school lesson.
No refund will be given if the customer is unable to attend the class as a result of incorrect information being provided when booking, such as the wrong level or age group, 

No refund will be given if the ski school lesson cannot be completed due to bad weather, power outage, machine failure, technical outage, closing of one or more slopes or other reasons that are not controlled by the ski resort (force majeure)

Make sure that you have provided the correct information before ordering.

2. Illness og injury
In the event of illness or injury, the ski school participant will be entitled to a proportionate reimbursement of the expenses for the time that the ski school could not be carried out against a doctor's certificate after a doctor's visit. Reimbursement in the event of illness or injury will only be given to the person who is ill or injured.
